Below are questions answered by Clay Atchison in a Victoria Advocate interview:

How long have you been in business in the Crossroads?

“Last year we celebrated our 45th Anniversary this year. We are very proud of our long history, but continue to be innovative with current trends and styles…..sourcing new products and designs, and always providing our customer a unique experience.”

What would you consider to be the key to your success?

“The keys to our success are our great customers who support our family-owned business, and our dedicated staff. We still have many of our original customers along with the second and even third generations of their families. Many of our staff have been with us for years, and are like family to us.”

Why do you think our readers voted for you?

"Our customers are using flowers as a way to express their feelings to others. They entrust us to do that and we take that responsibility very seriously. We have a wide variety of the freshest flowers and plants, along with many unique vases and containers. We are the only Victoria Texas florist licensed to sell beer and wine baskets which are hugely popular. Of course, we listen to our customers thoughts in order to create the perfect snack or gift basket for them.”

What does it mean to you to be voted the Victoria Advocate Best of the Best Florist?

“It means that the care our hard-working staff is providing to our customers is being recognized. I believe it indicates we’re doing something right for over 45 years.”
